OneOhio Opioid Settlement Agreement

This Memorandum of Understanding controls how opioid settlement funds received from wholesale distributors and manufacturers will be allocated in Ohio and who will control it. 

Settlement Share for Each Local Government

 Local governments — counties, cities, villages, townships — will receive 30% of settlement money. This document estimates, by percentage, how the settlement will be divided among 2,000 local governments. 

Total Direct Payments to Each Local Government

More than 2,000 local governments in Ohio are eligible for opioid settlement money. This document, from the Ohio Attorney General, estimates total payments each government will receive ovr 18 years from opioid distributors.
